It should be noticed that at two or three years of age kids are very dependent on adults. From this point of view, their nursery teacher becomes a substitution for their own mother. That is fantastic how children rely upon teachers! They can say any secret themes to them actually. Be sure to keep their trust and give each child the feeling that the nursery school or daycare belongs to him and he has his own special place where he is wanted and will be missed if he doesn’t come to school. His own kits of toys will be waiting for him and will be glad to see him again the next day. Children are taught to be responsible for some jobs as well, such as caring for flowers, helping to give out toys, dusting and sweeping. Everything will give a child a sense of duty and feeling of usefulness.

A request for fresh air is very essential. Playing in the open spaces the children develop their mind and physical abilities. Kids must be out of doors as much as possible – they must be strong and healthy for the future hardships. A healthy child is the child who is full of activity and curiosity. Different kits of toys for small kids must be always available. The formation of good physical habits is one of the requests of education in the early years – it is not hard to be done because the child easily imitates adults and tries to carry out the jobs of everyday life. My sister tells that she loves to watch children washing hands – they are controlled and coordinated at this moment. They carefully roll up sleeves, grasp soap, use and return it to the soap-dish; dry hands with their own towel and at last hang up on the hook. Of course, little children do everything slowly and the teacher must be patient and helpful. My sister loves talking about the days spent with small kids – she says that she is proud of her responsibility for teaching the children to receive experience and satisfaction of work they have done.
